Another SJSU offer extended

From Coach Dana of the Southwest Jets Basketball Club: "Brendon Gooch has received an offer from San Jose State University tonight."

Gooch is a 2016 prospect who stands 6-foot-6.

From an April 2013 piece: "Makes the game look easy. Gooch has all the tools, he's a great scorer both at shooting outside and scoring at the rim. He is a smart kid as I learned that he is on the honor roll at Belleville Althoff High School. Looks like the game is slowed down for him as he simply glides through defenders. Gets in nice position and rebounds well for his position. Puts in great effort on defense."

Western Illinois offered earlier as has Southern Illinois - Edwardsville.

The biggest concern here is he may end up becoming too "big" -- meaning some of the various basketball powers in the Midwest will desire him as his game expands and he grows into his body in the next two years.
