Blackmon goes with the Gauchos

2015 Utah prep prospect Jariesse Blackmon has given a verbal commitment to UC Santa Barbara, who offered in mid-August. The 6-foot-6  forward was also offered in late June by San Jose State University but that may have been pulled when 6-foot-7 Arizona high schooler Brandon Clarke committed to the Spartans at the end of July. Clarke took an official to Washington Square on August 28.
