Gaynor goes with the Spartans

Ray Brewer reports that 6-foot-2 Las Vegas prep backcourter Darryl Gaynor Jr. will sign a letter-of-intent with San Jose State University on Monday.

PoP then tweeted: "Darryl Gaynor is a versatile guard with alpha male characteristics. Aggressive defender who loves to penetrate with an improved jump shot."

This is from one of Gaynor's games in mid-February in which he displayed extreme toughness.

From The Las Vegas Review Journal comes the Nevada 2014 all-state honorees.

+++++++

But why is a three star guard only generating offers from Bakersfield (WAC), Northern Arizona (Big Sky) and Florida A&M (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference)? We'll make some calls to try and find out.

And forget about landing Noah Robotham. He definitely doesn't know the way to San Jose as Gaynor and Jalen James are the points on the Spartan team. As Brandon Hickey tweeted: "This is good news for Akron re: Robotham RT : 2014 guard Darryl Gaynor of Durango (NV) has committed to San Jose State."
