Chris Murray provides excellent insight into how Coach David Carter is shaping his Nevada program. A snippet:

"...Size has always been a story for us in terms of recruiting, trying to find the right guys to play the four and five, guys with girth, guys who are 240-250 pounds, guys who have the size to defend and rebound," Carter said. In the WAC, you could get away with one legit big man. That doesn't work in the Mountain West. Look at the teams that thrive in the league: San Diego State, New Mexico, UNLV. Those programs win with defense, rebounding and frontcourt length...
